We stock a wide selection of quality secondhand books on many aspects of history including military, local and transport, with a good selection of books for children.  We also offer a free book search service.

A warm welcome to The History Bookshop, Salisbury. Located in the courtyard of the historic Fisherton Mill, which itself offers a great café and shopping experience. The Mill complex is within easy walking distance of both the railway station and the city centre.  Thousands of out-of-print books are waiting for you to browse amongst. Marvel at the sight of the intrepid owner descending the “character” stairs backwards, and without the aid of a safety net.

In a previous incarnation, Patrick was a Librarian for many years and in 2015 couldn’t resist the opportunity to open a second-hand bookshop in his home city. He hopefully offers a life-long knowledge of books and a FREE search service for out-of-print books on any subject.
